WHO’S? AND WHOSE?
Look at this example:
WHO’S the girl?- She’s Patty Diamond, the model.
WHOSE is the handbag?/WHOSE handbag is this?- It’s Patty’s.
WHO'S got a handbag? Patty has.
WHO'S got a handbag? Patty has.
Now you decide if “who's” or “whose” is correct in these examples:
_______ the lady with the curly hair? She’s Mrs Fern.
_______ got curly hair? Mrs Fern has.
_______ got an alarm clock? Mr Crabtree has.
_______ is the alarm clock? It’s Mr Crabtree’s
_______ the man with the briefcase? It’s Mr Crabtree.
_______ got a lipstick? Patty has.
Fill in with “Who’s” or “Whose”
“ _______ that lovely girl coming out of the shop?
“Oh, that’s Patty Diamond, the model”
“ _______ that man with her?”
“I think it’s her husband, Mr Crabtree, the salesman”
“ Husband?”
“Yes”
