Reading: Venus and Serena Williams

In the year 2002, two sisters played against each other in the tennis finals at Wimbledon, England. After that, Venus and Serena Williams often played against each other in many other exciting competitions. At The US Open Tournament in 2005, Venus won a game against Serena.

Venus Williams was born on 17th June 1980 and Serena was born on 26th September, 1981. Their father, Richard Willams, loved tennis and wanted their children to be stars. Both sisters started playing tennis when they were four years old. Their father learned about the game from a book and taught them how to play. At first, they used old balls and rackets.

Venus and Serena live, practise and travel together, They love dogs, fashion and playing the guitar. They are always excited for each other when one of them wins a competition and they’re always glad to be together.
