Possessive Pronouns
En esta unidad vamos a ver los pronombres posesivos en inglés. ¡Ojo! No los confundas con los adjetivos posesivos.
Recuerda: Los pronombres sustituyen a un nombre y los adjetivos los acompañan. Por ejemplo:
I like your car. Do you like mine? (my car)
Los pronombres posesivos se usan para evitar repetir información que está clara. Ejemplos:
This is my cat, not your cat. (Sounds repetitive)
This cat is mine, not yours.
I didn’t have my book so Jenny lent me her book. (Sounds repetitive)
I didn’t have my book, so Jenny lent me hers.
